I saw this at a modern art museum in Chatanooga. Inspiring.
Fall in love or fall in hate
Get inspired or be depressed
Ace a test or flunk a class
Make babies or make art
Speak the truth or lie and cheat
Dance on tables or sit in the corner
Life is divine chaos. Embrace it
Forgive yourslef. Breathe.
And enjoy the ride.

I will do this.
Nothing in my life matters except this.
No moment in my life exists except this moment.
I am born in this moment, and if I fail, I will die in this moment.

I long to be in the places that I see
in the pictures of my dreams
Where there’s mountains full of trees,
meadows carpeted in green
Silent, snow-fall, clear running streams.
Where the bear-grass blooms
In the spring-time of the year,
And the larch turn gold in the Fall
Where there’s deer, elk and antelope
Beaver, bears and birds and the yippin’
coyotes serenade them all.
Chorus:
Yes, there’s no place like Montana,
the Big Sky country, my home.
A place to set my spirit free,
a Rocky Mountain melody,
These things are a part of me,
Montana, Montana, my home.
Charlie Russell clouds paint sunsets in the West,
in colors of red, blue and gold.
Snow-capped peaks reach endless to the sky,
and the grain-fields with gentle breezes flow.
There’s high mountain lakes, Missouri river breaks
and the open plains, where the buffalo used to roam.
It’s a cowboy song, it’s where Indians belong
God’s country, my home sweet home.
I had a dream, of how Heaven’s s’posed to be,
and when I die, that’s where I want to go.
Cause there’s mountains full of trees, meadows
carpeted in green, silent snowfall, clear running streams.
(Chorus)

Life is good. No, it’s great. It’s jumping from a bridge into clear blue water a thousand feet below and pulsing with the energy of the sun.
I’m working too much recently, but drenched in the essence of every moment. Her smile sends tingles through my soul, and the world is brighter for knowing that I’m sharing it with someone so vivid.
For those of you who don’t follow Christopher Locke, he’s writing again. Not that trivial business drivel he so often spews, but soul-searching words that slam into your psyche like an unexpected snowball to the back of the neck. This passage from his latest email invasion…..
There is no one and nothing to see there. Only emptiness and silence. Stay. Never seek to leave. Never look away. Slowly, a story comes together out of nowhere. In bits and pieces assembled at great cost. Here, waiting, listening, I choose my words.
I am Jaguar and this broken knowledge is my pyramid. Jungle encroaching on these ancient ruined cities, warmth of your living blood my breath. Whatever will be I remember. Whatever has been I forget. Look in my eyes. Look deeper. See the world on fire.
See the world on fire.
Set the world on fire.
Set your world on fire.
Set your soul on fire.
Set your soul free.

The sun’s first rays sneaking through the trees
Breaking into the playground in my mind
Fingerprints on the mood swing show some recent use
Teeter-totter of indecision knocked clean off its stand
Broken and unused for years
Like the merry-go-round of love
Grown over with weeds
Rusted in place
The bars feel rough under my hands
I close my eyes, and feel a soft push
The smell of fresh cut grass rushes back
Laughter in the air
Wind rushing over my skin
I smile
And open my eyes
Haven’t moved an inch
Yet my heart has traveled miles
In moments
With a gentle touch
